Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Virew ("Virew", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our app and website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We only collect the data needed to give you AI coaching and improve the product. This includes account details, the videos you upload, the coaching data we generate, and limited technical/analytics data.

When you create an account we store your name, email address and (for Google sign-in) your public Google profile photo. Passwords for email accounts are stored only as a secure one-way hash — we never store your plaintext password.

When you upload a lap, the video is stored securely so it can be analyzed and so you can revisit your session. Videos are linked to your account (or, before you sign in, to your device). You can request deletion of your videos at any time.

We process your uploaded video with an AI model to produce your coaching report (score, strengths, time losses, focus and progress metrics). This generated coaching data is stored with your account so we can track your improvement over time.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (a secure session cookie) and a local identifier to support guest usage before sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as which features are used and basic error diagnostics) to improve Virew. This data does not identify you personally.

To operate Virew we rely on trusted service providers, including a cloud AI provider for video analysis, secure cloud storage for your videos, and Google for optional Google Sign-In. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service.

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls. We retain your data for as long as your account is active, and delete it upon a valid deletion request or account closure.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at virewapp@gmail.com.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing virewapp@gmail.com. We will permanently delete your account information, uploaded videos and coaching data, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.
